Fresh efforts to recruit to Foula and Muck fire crews

Members of Highlands and Islands Fire Board have heard about difficulties in recruiting officers in some of the area's most remote islands.

Depopulation has been among the factors affecting recruitment on islands such as Foula and Muck.

The board has agreed to fresh recruitment efforts.
