Inverness Royal Academy reopens after asbestos fears

A school which was shut temporarily, following concerns about a water leak in part of the building where there is asbestos, has been reopened.

Inverness Royal Academy staff closed the building early on Friday as a precaution.

Highland Council later said it had been planning to remove the asbestos and work would be done over the weekend to make the scene of the leak safe.

The asbestos will be removed during the October holidays.
