Missing Skye man Murdo Lamont's body found

The body of a man who went missing on Skye on Monday has been found following a search involving dogs, police and coastguard officers.

Murdo Lamont, 62, from Uig, was last seen walking at a hairpin bend on the A855 at about 15:20 on Monday.

He was found in the Uig area, Northern Constabulary.

Members of Skye Mountain Rescue Team had also been involved in the search for Mr Lamont, who worked as a labourer.
