Aberdeen man died in fall in Kintail hills

A man who died in a fall while climbing in the hills in the Kintail area, above the Cluanie Inn in Glen Shiel, has been named by police.

Tom Clark was a 65-year-old graphic designer from Aberdeen.

Kintail Mountain Rescue Team, Sarda search dogs, police and a helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth were called to the area after reports of the accident at about 17:30 on Saturday.

When they found Mr Clark he had died of his injuries.
