Inverness woman admits causing motorcyclist's death

A 37-year-old woman has admitted causing the death of a motorcyclist by careless driving.

Caran Wortley, of Inverness, pleaded guilty to turning her vehicle into the path of Darren Donaldson, 27, also of Inverness.

The incident happened on Barn Church Road in Culloden on 18 May.

Sentencing at Inverness Sheriff Court was deferred until 8 December for community service and social work reports.

Bail was continued.
