Police name man found dead at home after Croy crash

Police have named a man whose body was discovered at a house in Croy, near Inverness, on Thursday.

James Mowat, 70, died as a result of injuries he sustained in an earlier road incident.

He is believed to have been involved in a one-vehicle crash on the B9091 Croy to Clephanton Road sometime between 21:00 and 21:30 on Wednesday.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing. A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
