Anti-freeze blamed for cat deaths in Conon Bridge

A cat found dead in Ross-shire died from anti-freeze poisoning according to the results of a post mortem, the Scottish SPCA has said.

The pet was found in the Braes of Conon area of Conon Bridge on 26 October.

The SSPCA said it suspected the vehicle coolant was also the cause of another cat's death in the area in the same week.

Senior Insp Dougie Campbell said it was possible the anti-freeze was spilled accidentally.
