Man found in Ullapool harbour named as Philip Anthony Toland

The fisherman whose body was found in Ullapool harbour after he went missing on Christmas Day has been named.

Philip Anthony Toland, who was 34, was from County Donegal in Ireland.

Concerns had been raised late in the evening of Christmas Day. He had last been seen near the pier.

Searches were carried out into the early hours by police, coastguard and an RNLI lifeboat. A Grampian Police dive team located the body.

A police inquiry has been launched.
