Thieves take items worth £16,000 in Strathpeffer theft

Thieves have stolen about £16,000-worth of items from a farm building in Easter Ross.

Police said tools and metal were among the goods taken from the steading at Heights of Inchvannie, at Strathpeffer.

The theft happened sometime between 13:00 on 31 December and 10:10 on 1 January.

Northern Constabulary has appealed for information about any suspicious activity in the area over Hogmanay and New Year's Day.
