Youths sought after couple attacked in Inverness

Three teenagers are being sought by police after a 50-year-old woman and a man, aged 41, were attacked in Inverness on Saturday night.

Police said the man and woman suffered minor injuries in the incident which happened at about 20.00 at St Francis Gardens in Dalneigh.

Northern Constabulary said two boys aged between 15 and 16 and a girl aged 14-15 were being sought.

Witnesses have been asked to contact the police or Crimestoppers.

One of the boys was described as being white, of slim build, about 5ft 5ins wearing a red Adidas long-sleeved top and a beanie hat with red and white hoops.

The other boy was described as white, slim build, about 5ft 7ins with short brown hair and wearing a blue top.

The girl was white, about 5ft 4ins with long dark straight hair tied in a ponytail and was wearing a light coloured top and dark scarf.
