Motorist accused of causing Kettering biker's death in A82 crash

A motorist has been accused of causing the death of a 74-year-old motorcyclist in a crash on the A82 in the Highlands.

Charles Singleton, from Kettering, Northamptonshire, died following the collision at Achnabobane, in Lochaber, on Tuesday.

Duncan Stewart, 62, from Spean Bridge, appeared at Fort William Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

He made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination.

Mr Stewart was granted bail.
