Serious crashes on A82 and B9161 in the Highlands
The emergency services are dealing with two separate serious road accidents in the Highlands.
A woman has been taken to Belford Hospital in Fort William after her car came off the A82, at about 8:30 three miles south of Fort William.
And on the Black Isle, near Inverness, two cars were involved in a collision just before 9:30.
Police said the B9161 between the Munlochy junction and Bogallan Nurseries had re-opened.
Fire crews freed a woman trapped in one of the cars.
The incidents are the latest in a series of crashes on Highland roads this week.
Five people were hurt in two separate incidents on Wednesday morning, one near Boat of Garten and the other near Tain.
Three people had to be cut from a car after a crash with an empty fuel tanker on the A9, south of Aviemore, on Monday afternoon.
