Man arrested over Elgin death

A 55-year-old man has been arrested after the discovery of a woman's body in Elgin.

Police officers were called to High School View in the New Elgin area of the Moray town at about 03:15 on Thursday.

They discovered the body of a 41-year-old, named locally as Kim Campbell. Her death was said to have been "suspicious".

Grampian Police later said a man had been taken into custody.
