Laser pen shone into plane landing at Inverness Airport

Police have appealed for information after a laser pen was directed into the cockpit of a small plane as it landed at Inverness Airport.

Northern Constabulary said the pen was shone from Ardersier at about 20:30 on Sunday.

The aircraft landed safely and no-one was hurt.

In October last year, a laser pen was shone from North Kessock on the Black Isle, near Inverness, at a plane as it approached the airport.
