Three climbers spent the night on Tower Gap on Ben Nevis after they were prevented from making an ascent because of bad weather.

Northern Constabulary said it was alerted to the men's situation at 19:45 on Saturday.

Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team and a Stornoway Coastguard helicopter found the group at about 14:30 the following day.

The men were airlifted off the mountain.

Police said none of them needed medical treatment.
