Woman seriously injured in crash on A9 in Golspie

A woman has been taken to hospital after she was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash on the A9 in Sutherland.

Police said the collision happened in Golspie at about 13:00.

The injured woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

The road has been closed at the scene of the crash and diversions have been put in place.
