Inverness school recognised for Glasgow 2014 work

A primary in the Highlands has become the first school in Scotland to be recognised for using the Commonwealth Games to inspire projects.

Class work at Crown Primary School in Inverness has included a world map tracking the Queen's Baton Relay.

It has received a Game On Scotland plaque from a scheme run by Education Scotland and Glasgow 2014 organisers.

The award was presented by Commonwealth Games and Sports Minister Shona Robison.
