RNLI called to cruiser on rocks on Loch Ness

A lifeboat has gone to the aid of a cruiser stranded on rocks on Loch Ness near Fort Augustus.

The RNLI said the alarm was raised at about 12:45.

It was understood one of the two people onboard the cruiser was able to jump ashore to get help.

Loch Ness lifeboat crew freed the vessel.
