Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team has bought land in Dingwall so it can build its first base on the east coast of its vast territory.

The team of about 40 volunteers operates from Ullapool and Dundonnell in the west.

Its patch includes Coigach, the Fannichs, An Teallach, Strathconon, Strathfarrar, Glen Affric and Mullardoch.

The team needs to raise £150,000 to build the new base.
