Photographer Paul Campbell captured images at two other events - the Highland Military Tattoo and an obstacle course challenge called the Prime Four Beat Race.
The Highland Military Tattoo was held at Fort George, an 18th Century artillery fortification at Ardersier.
The fort remains to be a working barracks today.
The tattoo formed part of Scotland's Homecoming 2014 celebrations.
About 700 people took part in Saturday's Prime Four Beast Race.
Entrants were challenged to tackle 30 obstacles.
The event was staged on and around the shores of Loch Ness.
