Man who died after crash on South Uist named by police
A man who died after a car carrying five teenagers crashed in the Western Isles on Saturday evening has been named by police.
Carl MacPhee was 19 years old and from South Uist.
The single-car crash happened at about 20:40 at the junction of the A865 and the B888 on South Uist.
Police Scotland said two 16-year-old males and another 19-year-old man were treated for minor injuries after the crash.
Another 16-year-old male was treated for a minor head injury. He was transferred to hospital in Glasgow but was later released.
