Improvements ordered at care home in Rosemarkie

A private care home could be forced to close if it fails to make urgent improvements within the next month.

NHS Highland has already suspended new admissions to Marine House in Rosemarkie over concerns about standards of care.

The Care Inspectorate has asked owners RDS Healthcare to make improvements by 7 November.

Failure to do so would lead to the home's official registration being cancelled.

If this did happen the home could be forced to close.

RDS has been asked to ensure residents are not at a risk of malnutrition and dehydration.
