Two animal lovers in the Highlands have set up a food bank for pets.

Alison Cuthbertson and her partner Dave Perrie run a mobile pet food business from Ardgay in Sutherland.

They have started the new free-of-charge food bank, Parcels for Pets, to help families on low incomes and struggling to look after their pets.

The couple are seeking charitable status for the service which covers communities from Alness in Easter Ross to Wick in Caithness.

They were recently gifted a car to help them gather items for the food bank.
