A proposed new nursing care home for Grantown on Spey has been given planning permission by the Cairngorm National Park Authority (CNPA).

Parklands Group plans to build the £3.5m 40-bed building on a site at Seafield Avenue.

The firm said the single storey home would have four wings each with a day room, dining room and 10 en-suite bedrooms.

The facility will be modelled on its care homes in Tain and Muir of Ord.
