The Nevis Range mountain resort near Fort William has been marking 25 years since it first opened.

Opened as a ski centre, the site has diversified over the years and in the summer hosts a stage of a world mountain bike competition.

Last year, it opened a 40m-long slide which was the first of its kind in Scotland.

In February this year, the resort had its busiest day for 10 years with almost 1,700 skiers and snowboarders.

But it was not able to operate all of its lifts because some were buried under unprecedented amounts of snow.
