Former chef jailed for rapes in Pitlochry and Nairn
A former chef has been jailed for six years for raping women at two hotels.
George Webster, 28, assaulted his first victim, who was 23, in the staff quarters of the Scotland's Hotel in Pitlochry on 7 June 2013.
On 4 May last year, he raped a 22-year-old woman in a room at the Golf View Hotel in Nairn.
Judge Edward Bowen QC told Webster, who has been in prison since May, that he would be placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
The judge said: "You treated them appallingly badly and that must be dealt with appropriately."
Webster was convicted of the sex crimes at an earlier trial.
