One missing after large building fire in Sutherland

One person is missing and another has been injured in a large building fire in Sutherland.

Firefighters were called to the blaze in Rosehall at about 21:30 on Saturday.

At the height of the fire 19 crew and four appliances were involved in the operation.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said one casualty was recovered from the building and taken to hospital while another person remained unaccounted for.

A spokeswoman said: "Fire crews from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have deployed breathing apparatus teams into the property to fight the fire and also search and rescue for the missing person.

"It is too early to state the cause of the fire at this time, but a full investigation will be carried out by fire and police when the incident comes to a close."
