Support sought for Black Isle community wind farm

Postal ballot papers have been sent out to people on the Black Isle in the Highlands asking if they support plans for a community wind farm.

Black Isle Community Energy, the group behind the plans, wants to put up three turbines in Millbuie Forest near Mount Eagle.

The company said money raised from the project could help pay for the building of a swimming pool in Fortrose.

Opponents of the scheme have said the farm will be a blight on the landscape.

The turbines would be 328ft (100m) from the base to the tip of a blade.
