The Met Office has updated its warning of severe gales for parts of Scotland on Wednesday to include Shetland.

Winds gusting up to 75mph have been forecast for the Inner and Outer Hebrides, north west Highlands and Shetland.

The yellow "be aware" warning was first issued on Tuesday for north western parts of Scotland.

Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne has said that 23 of its 26 routes have been disrupted because of the weather.

The Met Office warning is in place until 18:00.
