Three wards now closed to admissions at Inverness' Raigmore hospital

A ward at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness has been closed again as a precaution amid efforts to control an outbreak of norovirus.

Ward 5C was shut to new admissions earlier this week before being reopened.

NHS Highland said it has again been closed as a precaution after two patients became unwell.

The move means three wards are unavailable to new admissions - 2C and 7C have been affected for several days.

NHS Highland said 17 patients were affected by norovirus in 2C and 10 in 7C.
