Norovirus affected wards at Raigmore Hospital reopen

Four wards at a city hospital that were temporarily closed to new admissions because of norovirus have been reopened.

Wards 2C, 3A, 5C and 7C at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness were affected by the outbreak which started last month.

More than 50 patients took ill with the sickness and diarrhoea bug.

The hospital was also temporarily closed to all visitors as part of NHS Highland's effort to control the virus.
