Police name Amanda Harold as victim of Dalwhinnie A9 crash

A woman who died in a two-car crash on the A9 at Dalwhinnie on Wednesday has been named by police.

Amanda Harold, who was 44 and from Cumbernauld in North Lanarkshire, died at the scene of the crash.

A man, woman and two young children in the other car suffered cuts and bruises, police said.

The road was closed for about six hours after the collision at about 10:45. Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
