Man to be reported after cars and lorry crash on A9

A 47-year-old man is to be reported to the procurator fiscal following a collision on the A9 on Wednesday that left two drivers injured.

Two cars and a lorry were involved in the collision south of Dalwhinnie. It had initially been reported that one car was involved.

The drivers, both men, were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment.

Police Scotland has appealed for witnesses to the collision.

The cars involved were a Volkswagen Passat and a black BMW, police said. The crash happened at about 14:55 near Drumochter.
