Woman accused of attempted murder unfit for trial

A woman accused of trying to kill another woman is unfit to stand trial, the High Court in Glasgow has heard.

Chelsea Brown, 24, from Inverness, is accused of the attempted murder of Kathleen MacKinnon at the 57-year-old's home in Inverness in June this year.

The court heard that a number of psychiatrists had concluded she was not fit to stand trial.

An examination of facts hearing - set to last about four days - will instead take place in Edinburgh next March.

Brown will remain at Glasgow's Rowanbank Clinic in the meantime.
