Appeal after sex assault at flats

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted at a block of flats in Aberdeen in the early hours of Saturday.

The 39-year-old victim had walked home from a night out with friends in the city centre when she was assaulted at the flats in Skene Street.

Officers said they wanted to speak a woman and two men who passed the door to the block of flats at 0155 BST.

They may have seen a man helping a woman get into the block.

Grampian Police said the man is described as 35 to 40, 6ft tall, with dark, short hair and wearing a white long-sleeved shirt.
