About 600 homes in Aberdeen were left without power in Aberdeen after a morning fault caused problems for two hours.

Households in Cults lost their supplies at about 0830 BST on Wednesday.

A Scottish and Southern Energy spokesperson told BBC Scotland that all the homes affected had their power restored by about 1030 BST.

The spokesperson said the failure may have been caused by a fault with an underground network cable.
