Women hurt in Aberdeen supermarket car park accident

Two elderly women were taken to hospital after a collision involving a vehicle in an Aberdeen supermarket car park.

The alarm was raised at the Sainsbury's store, on Garthdee Road, at about 1220 BST.

Grampian Police said one woman taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary was not as seriously hurt as first feared.

The force said an 81-year-old woman was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
