Two injured in Aberdeen harbour accident

Two people have been taken to hospital for treatment after an industrial accident at Aberdeen harbour.

Emergency services were called to Albert Quay at about 1100 GMT.

It is understood one victim was trapped in a trench and was freed by firefighters. One man suffered broken limbs and the other escaped with minor injuries.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been informed and will investigate the incident.
