Woman in court after £140,000 of drugs seized in Buckie

A woman has appeared in court after drugs with an estimated street value of about £140,000 were seized in Buckie.

Grampian Police said cocaine, amphetamine and ecstasy, and a four-figure sum of money, were recovered in the operation.

Lynda Murray, 45, of Buckie, appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court charged with various drugs offences.

A Crown Office spokesperson said the accused made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
