Man charged after pregnant woman stabbed in Aberdeen

A man has been charged after a pregnant woman was stabbed in Aberdeen.

The 29-year-old woman went to the Cairncry police office in the Northfield area at about 2335 GMT on Wednesday.

She was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where her condition was described as not life-threatening.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said a 36-year-old man had been charged and was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Friday.
