Fire warning signal on helicopter at Aberdeen Airport

Emergency crews were called to Aberdeen Airport after a helicopter fire warning signal.

The alarm, involving the Bond helicopter, was raised by ground crew during the start-up procedure on Monday morning.

The engine was shut down, and an investigation will be carried out as a result.

A spokesman for Bond said no passengers were on board at the time of the incident.
