Woman airlifted after crash on Aberdeenshire road
A woman has been flown to hospital after a serious crash on a road in Aberdeenshire.
The woman, aged about 25, was cut free by Grampian firefighters after the crash on the B9093 Strichen to Fetterangus road.
An air ambulance helicopter took the woman to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after the crash, which happened at about 0750 GMT near the A952 junction.
A Grampian Police spokesperson said the road later re-opened.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman told the BBC Scotland news website the woman had back and neck injuries.
