Aberdeen charity farm wins £50,000 BAA funding

An Aberdeen farm which provides employment and services to people with disabilities and mental health problems has been awarded £50,000.

The VSA-run Easter Anguston Farm, near Peterculter, has won the funding from the Aberdeen Airport Community Fund, part of the BAA Communities Trust.

The money is expected to allow the VSA to refurbish an education room and build a new machinery workshop.

Easter Anguston farm manager John Duncan said: "This is fantastic news."
