Aberdeen attack leaves two men injured

A "serious" attack on two men in Aberdeen is being investigated by police.

The assault happened on Langstane Place, between Crown Street and Dee Street, in the early hours of Saturday.

Grampian Police said two men aged in their 20s were assaulted by a group of three men who punched them about the head.

One suffered a serious facial injury, with the other escaping with less serious injuries.

The attackers were described as being aged between 20 and 25.

One had numerous black Celtic-style tattoos on both arms.
