NHS Grampian makes £14m budget cuts services pledge

Patients will not suffer amid almost £14m of budget cuts, NHS Grampian has vowed.

The health board's finance director, Alan Gall, said front line services would not be harmed as a result of the savings and the public should see no change.

Among the cost-cutting proposals are reducing the use of locum doctors and longer shifts for nurses.

The savings account for just under 1.5% of NHS Grampian's £945m budget.
