One airlifted after bus and car accident on A947

One person has been airlifted to hospital for treatment after a collision involving a bus and a car in Aberdeenshire.

The collision happened on the A947, near King Edward, at about 0950 BST.

One man was transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by air ambulance with suspected leg injuries.

The road was closed just past the Fraserburgh turn-off on the A947, and traffic was being diverted along the B1905 towards Fintry.

The bus left the road as a result of the collision.
