Dyce homes evacuated over car crash gas cylinder

Several homes have been evacuated after a gas cylinder was found in a crashed vehicle in Aberdeenshire.

The BMW car and a van collided on Riverview Drive, Dyce at about 1035 BST. Both drivers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Grampian Police said properties in the immediate vicinity were evacuated because of a "potentially damaged gas cylinder" in one of the vehicles.

Grampian Fire and Rescue established a safety zone and closed the road.
