Man injured in Aberdeen car park attack

A man is being treated in hospital after being seriously assaulted by group of men in a residential area of Aberdeen.

The 36-year-old was attacked near the car park at Peacocks Court in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He is being treated at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for non life-threatening injuries.

Grampian Police have appealed for witnesses to the attack, which happened at 0340 BST.

One suspect is described as in his early 20s, about 5ft 11in (1.8m) tall, of stocky build with short blonde hair and a tattoo on his arm.

He was wearing a black t-shirt and dark trousers.

A second man was wearing what was described as a Christmas-style "bobble" hat.
