Council monitors Stonehaven traveller 'camp'
Aberdeenshire Council has said it is monitoring a group of travellers which set up an unauthorised camp in Stonehaven.
A group of about nine travellers arrived at Baird Park Road on Sunday night.
A group of travellers was evicted from the area last month.
A pledge to find more authorised sites for the travelling community was made to help ease tensions in the north east of Scotland earlier this month.
It came at a summit, held in Inverurie, aimed at improving relations.
It was agreed that both the settled and travelling communities would work together in a bid to foster mutual respect.
The meeting was organised by the Grampian Regional Equality Council (GREC).
