Biker charged over 127mph speed in Aberdeenshire

A motorcyclist has been charged after allegedly being caught speeding at 127mph in Aberdeenshire.

Grampian Police said a 43-year-old man was arrested during a road safety operation on the B9077 near Nether Balfour, Durris, on Wednesday.

A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Grampian Police have been running a motorcycle safety campaign called Operation Zenith for the past 12 months.
